Shannon is incredible and so talented at what she does! Our ceremony was one of our favourite parts of the day. We had endless comments about how exceptional Shannon is and the fun, loved up, relaxed atmosphere she created flowed seamlessly into the rest of the night. Shannon also made connections with our family members, which is so above and beyond! The chapel was full of laughter, heartfelt moments and most importantly, it represented us perfectly as a couple. We will be forever grateful.

Shan is PHENOMENAL and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Every single one of our guests raved about Shan, the ceremony she crafted, and how well it reflected us as a couple, from the moment we started making the rounds after the ceremony, throughout the reception, and even during post-wedding recovery events. One guest even said they wanted to get married again just to have Shan do the ceremony.

All aspects of working with Shan were amazing from the first meeting to all of her recommendations for various suppliers to the planning meeting and, finally, the big day! Shan’s expertise, confidence, and good nature put me at ease throughout the entire process, especially as we encountered some unforeseen potential complications close to the day (surrounded by two weeks of glorious weather, unexpected thunderstorms were due to start exactly at the time of our garden wedding; and about 90% of our guests travelling just as COVID-19 was declared a pandemic and travel restrictions kicked in). In the end, our fantastic team of suppliers and Shan pushed the ceremony forward a couple of minutes and we managed to get our first kiss in as the first drop of rain splashed down on us (without making the ceremony seem rushed); and, as Shan pointed out, ours was probably the last international event in Melbourne for the foreseeable future.

Where do I start with Shan? My goodness, from the moment of meeting her, Jonathan and I knew she would be our celebrant. She just got us and understood how we wanted our day to run!

Shan is amazing! She is your “go to gal” for everything wedding related and also just plain life advice related! She is there for everything and I mean everything! Freaking out about how to have your hair on the day? Message Shan. Not sure what colour scheme to go with? Message Shan. Worried about the weather for your big day? Well, Shan will smack that worry right out of you.

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful woman! She even converted my father in law who is an avid church wedding enthusiast to a civil ceremony lover!

Honestly, Shan makes the whole wedding experience so enjoyable and the ceremony itself, well that’s on a whole other level. Shan really gets to know her couples, she becomes one of your friends and you just know she genuinely cares about her couples, their big day and their future together!

Being fortunate enough to witness Shan officiate many weddings prior to ours we had zero doubt in our minds that she would play such a pivotal role in our wedding lead up and ceremony, it was one of the most comfortable choices we had to make in the whole wedding. Besides the initial congratulations we received from guests after we were legally wedded, everyone's next comment was on the ceremony and how fantastic Shan was. She read the play immediately and prepared a very relaxed and lighthearted ceremony that suited us immensely and we are still laughing at it now! Due to impending restrictions with public gatherings, we decided to bring our wedding forward with only a few days notice. Shannon was one of the most important suppliers to us that we wanted to make sure could do the date change. We are beyond thankful to Shannon for being a rock during all the last minute craziness and her steady hand and endless support was so calming. I don't think we realised how much we needed it at the time but are so appreciative of it looking back now. Once you see or are a part of a wedding with Shan, its impossible to imagine a wedding with out her. Her positive attitude, quick wit, attention to detail, and all round good vibes are far beyond any other celebrant we have ever seen and if you are lucky enough to book Shannon, it's a real no-brainer if you ask us! I can honestly say that Shannon made our wedding day so much more special, fun and exciting! Just from the phone calls before the big day, she new exactly what me and my partner were like and tailored a ceremony that suited us to a tee.  She is simply amazing! Wow, what can I say? As a wedding photographer who has seen hundreds of ceremonies, I can honestly say that Shannon is elite at what she does. She is the Michael Jordan of celebrants! She is warm, funny, down to earth, calm and above all, she just gets it! I love photographing a Shannon Jeans ceremony as I know she will create something real and honest for the couple without any cheese or faff! I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We eloped!...Words can not express the gratitude for Shannons' professionalism, enthusiasm and easy going/can do attitude that made not only the officiating process easy and even fun for us, but also most importantly meaningful. Every detail was thought of and Shannon even came up with a creative and personal way to include a gender reveal at the end of our ceremony.  Everything felt so intimate and unique and she was hands down the best to deal with the whole process through. Also, being in the wedding industry personally, we come across many suppliers and many that are very good at what they do however Shannon lives and breaths this and is next level as a master with words and handling any situation you could put her in and you would be so very lucky to have her a part of your special occasion. 

Shannon’s ceremony style and presentation is second to none, and we have had nothing but positive responses from our friends and family about how she truly captured us as a couple. The ceremony was fun, easy going and the perfect start to our dream day! We couldn’t recommend Shannon highly enough!
