Kristy & Mark's Tanglewood Estate Extravaganza

Kristy and Mark, two lovelier, more genuine souls you’d be hard pressed to find. This incredibly well matched pair ooze love not only for each other, but for all those around them. They are the kind of people you just want to be around. They are truly special.

So, when I got the call up to officiate their eagerly anticipated wedding, you can imagine how lucky and privileged I felt.

Listening them talk about each other during our planning meeting gave me all the feels and with Mark whipping out words right from the get go like: “There’s a quote I heard once ‘a true relationship is two imperfect people refusing to give up on each other.’ I like to think that’s us. I look forward to remaining by Kristy’s side, both annoying and protecting her for life” ……. you can only imagine the sentiment their personal vows included.

But the goodness didn’t end there! Kristy and Mark selected quite the dream team of suppliers to ensure that their perfect wedding day was exactly that – perfect. And given they chose the highly sought after and extremely picturesque Tanglewood Estate on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula as their wedding venue, they sure were off to a cracking start!

Groom Mark (aka Mr Practical) was fairly intent on holding the ceremony in Tanglewood Estate’s historic 110 year old wooden chapel as he didn’t want to risk the elements outside – and let me assure you, that was a brilliant choice, as the vibe in that chapel come game day was at an all time high!

Kristy and Mark’s marriage ceremony was an absolute delight to officiate. The combination of historical laughter and banter, unforgettable heartfelt and sentimental moments and a genuine ‘real want’ to be there by all the guests present – bookended by sensational acoustic music thanks to Unplugged Entertainment, meant it was one to remember forever.
